Private leagues for golf friends

Turn your golf group into a proper league.

Log every round, outdoor or simulator. Handicaps level the field, points stack up, and the season crowns a champion.

The group chat is not a scoreboard.

One home for every round, season and bragging right.

Handicaps level the field

Every round is ranked on net score, so the 20 handicapper who plays to their number beats the scratch golfer having an off day. A 92 can win the day.

Saturday round, par 72

  1. Place 1

    Johanna Lind

    92 strokes, handicap 20

    E net

    0 pts

  2. Place 2

    Marcus Berg

    85 strokes, handicap 9

    +4 net

    1 pt

  3. Place 3

    Erik Sandberg

    78 strokes, handicap 0

    +6 net

    2 pts

Points that settle arguments

Win a round, take zero points. Second takes one, third takes two. Lowest total at the end of the season lifts the trophy.

  1. Place 10 pts
  2. Place 21 pt
  3. Place 32 pts
  4. Place 43 pts

Level on net score? The lower handicap takes the place. Still level? The points are shared.

Course and simulator, side by side

A Saturday on the course and a Tuesday night in the simulator both count toward the season. Each keeps its own personal bests, so a simulator round never rewrites your course record.

Set up before the next tee time.

Four steps, about five minutes, and your first round can go straight into the standings.

  1. Sign in

Use your Google or Apple account. No forms, no card.

  2. Create your league

Name it, add your home course and start a season.

  3. Invite the group

Share an invite link, or add occasional players as guests.

  4. Record a round

Enter strokes for whoever played. Standings update at once.

How Golf Beer League started

It was built for one Sunday group first. The scoring, tie-breaks and seasons were settled over real rounds and real arguments.

Questions from the first tee.

Is it free?

Yes. Creating a league, inviting players and recording rounds costs nothing, and you never enter a card.

Does everyone need an account?

Members sign in with Google or Apple to see the league. Friends who join now and then can be added as guests with a name and handicap.

What if only some of us play?

Record the round with whoever showed up. Only those players get points for it, whether that is two of you or the whole group.

How do simulator rounds work?

Choose simulator when you record the round and enter each player’s round handicap. It counts toward the season and keeps separate personal bests.

Who can see our results?

Only members of your league. Invite links expire and can be revoked, and opening one shows nothing until the person signs in and accepts.

Can I be in more than one league?

Yes. Your work group and your weekend group stay separate, each with its own seasons and standings, under one account.

Make your next round count.

Free to use. Sign in with Google or Apple and invite the group in a minute.
