Golf Beer League is a private golf league app. This page explains what it collects and what happens to it. We collect only what the app needs to run your leagues.

What we collect

Your account: the sign-in details you provide (your email address and password), your display name and your handicap.

Your league data: leagues, seasons, courses, rounds and scores, the names and handicaps of guest players, friend connections and invitations, and any images you upload.

Usage statistics: page views and events, sent to a self-hosted Plausible Analytics instance. They are aggregated and are not used for advertising.

Who can see it

Only members of a league can see that league’s results. Invitation links expire and can be revoked, and opening one shows nothing until the person signs in and accepts. Players you connect with as friends or league members see your display name. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Services we rely on

We use hosting, authentication, database, file storage and email providers to run the app. They process data on our behalf and only to provide those services. Emails such as confirmations and password resets are the only messages we send.

Cookies

The app uses a session cookie to keep you signed in, and the site remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can change your display name and handicap in the app’s settings, and delete your account there. Deleting your account removes your sign-in. If you are in the EU, UK or a similar region you also have the right to access, correct, export or erase your data and to complain to your data protection authority.

To exercise these rights, write to support@golf-beer-league.com.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will update the date at the top of this page.
